Carlton Musical Productions CIO

Formerly known as Carlton Operatic Society, the group was founded in 1921 and is based in Netherfield, Nottingham. We are affiliated to NODA, and we performed almost every year between 1986 and 2013 at the Nottingham Playhouse. In May 2014 we moved into our new home, Nottingham Theatre Royal where we have performed shows such as Shrek The Musical, Kinky Boots and Kipps - The New Half a Sixpence Musical. In May 2025 we collaborated with Nottingham Operatic Society and The Cast on a production of Les Miserables, and followed that with our May 2026 production of Come From Away. Our next show in June 2027 is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
