Founded in 1947 Brierley Hill Musical Theatre Company (BHMTC) is a group of inspired, creative individuals with a common interest; a passion for performing. The main company performs one main show a year; a pantomime; and a charity concert. The BHMTC Youth Group perform one show a year and in 2013 put on 3 successful packed performances of the High-School hopping "Grease" at Brierley Hill Civic Hall.

In recent years BHMTC has prided itself on providing a variety of entertainment with something for everyone with recent musicals including The Full Monty and Jesus Christ Superstar.

With their 2012 and 2013 productions the company sought to provide top class entertainment for all ages. Their 2012 production of the family favourite Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" (just type "tankardography" into Google to see the tankard-crashing choreography of the crowd-pleasing number "Gaston") was followed in 2013, by a superb production of the timeless classic - Lionel Bart's Oliver!

For their 2014 production, they turned up the heat with the naughty but very nice West Midlands premier amateur production of the re-vamped "Witches Of Eastwick".

For 2015, they rocked the boat with their production of the audience-pleasing "Guys and Dolls"

For 2016, 20 years after they last performed it, they returned to the family-favourite "Annie" to give it a refreshing new sparkle playing to packed audiences.

2017 marks their 70th anniversary and they will be performing another company favourite "My Fair Lady" details of other events will be announced throughout the year.
