The Beaufort Players Drama Group is a highly successful and respected amateur dramatic group, founded in 1962 and based Ealing, within easy reach of North Ealing (Piccadilly Line) and Hanger Lane (Central Line) underground stations and on the 83 & 112 bus routes.

We meet every Wednesday evening from 8.00pm onwards in the Hall behind the Church of the Ascension in Beaufort Road, Ealing W5 3EB where we perform three major 3-Act productions a year as well as Murder Mystery plays, occasional revues and 1-Act play evenings.

From the church car-park, walk around to the back of the church and come up the two or three steps into the hall by the small green door.

Over the years, we have staged a wide variety of plays in the Ascension Hall, ranging from pantomime, comedy and farce to thrillers, dramas and historical productions (see Play History) and have won numerous awards, including the NODA London Flame Award 2011:

"Awarded to the Beaufort Players for their work in a small village hall in Ealing, yet despite limitations of space and technical requirements, put on shows, the acting quality of which is worthy of the professional stage. They adapt sets for their small, limited space and are constantly pushing the boundaries with productions you would not expect, and new writing from within the company. They are continually supporting new, young directors in their group, mentoring them and using their constantly innovative approach to the performance."
