BATS Next Gen

BATS Next Gen was formed in 2002 with the sole purpose of providing affordable musical theatre experience to children in and around the Basingstoke area aged between 7 and 17, but age limits are in place depending on the show. We keep our fees low by using the wonderful voluntary services of people who already have experience in musical theatre or aspects of it. The committee are made up of volunteers too, so all profits get fed back to the society. Entry is by audition for a specific show, and members have to audition for each show they want to take part in. Young people learn so much through musical theatre: social skills, teamwork, self-discipline, as well as an outlet for their creative talents! We rehearse during term time only on Wednesdays and one Sunday in every month.
