Banbury Operatic Society

Banbury Operatic Society (BOS) is an award-winning musical theatre society. When not enjoying our lively social get togethers, our members can usually be found hard at work rehearsing our next production in Christopher Rawlins Church of England Primary School, Adderbury, Banbury, on a Monday or Wednesday evening between 7.30pm and 10.00pm.

Our repertoire ranges from modern musicals to G&S. We usually peform shows in February and October and welcome new members, performing and non-performing. We also have a thriving and multi-award winning youth group - YOBOS (Youth of Banbury Operatic Society). YOBOS prides itself on putting on a whole musical in just one week during the summer holidays! The group is open to 11 to 19 year olds with a passion for performing or behind the scenes work and is run BY young people, FOR young people! Recent productions include 42nd Street, Rock of Ages, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Rent, Grease and 13 the Musical. We also have a busy social side with us often undertaking group activities from meals to bowling. You are welcome to join us even if you aren't a member and want to find out more about who we are and what we do.
