ACT is a non-professional theatre group based in Axbridge, Somerset. We aim to provide opportunities for anyone interested in experiencing theatre, whether on-stage, backstage, front of house or as a member of the audience. We normally stage two productions a year, with a programme that provides variety and inclusivity. In recent years, productions have ranged from tragedy to comedy , from Shakespeare to Noel Coward and from Arthur Miller to Alan Ayckbourn.

- The Government Inspector (Nikolai Gogol)
- Gaslight (Patrick Hamilton)
- A Midsummer Night’s Dream (William Shakespeare)
- Broken Glass (Arthur Miller)
- Vardy v Rooney: The Wagatha Christie Trial (Liv Hennessey)
- I Have Been Here before (J.B. Priestley)
ACT always welcomes new members, both to appear on stage or get involved in the many backstage roles. Productions are developed over an eleven-week period, and rehearsals take place on Sundays.
