Thank you for inviting Phyllis and I to your hilariously funny production of Young Frankenstein.

All the main principals gave very strong portrayals of their respective characters, there wasn’t a weak link in the whole team.

David Stockton gave a very strong performance as Doctor Frankenstein.

Oliver Banks as Igor was brilliant, especially taking over the role with only two weeks notice. His comic timing and singing were excellent, but from time to time during his singing and dancing, I felt he came out of his hunched posture.

Ben Merriman playing the part of the monster with his impressive large frame was outstanding. The way he changed from the terrifying monster to the loveable character he became was really well done.

Charlotte Sibbitt as Inga, and Sharon Cooper as Frau Blucher, both making their debut in principal roles were very well cast, and gave some lovely comic moments.

Katie Priss as Elizabeth Benning gave some hilarious comic moments, and her singing was excellent.

All the main principals were ably supported by the rest of the cast.

The set was simple and well worked by the stage crew. Unfortunately there was some masking problems on the night I attended.

Sound and lighting were of a good standard.

The orchestra, led by Chris Wadeson were good, and never overpowered the performers..

Neil Hastings, Director and Sally Blake as Choreographer should be very pleased with the overall production.

Congratulations and very well done to every one involved.
