Alan Ayckbourn's Woman in Mind is a play told from a subjective viewpoint , everything is seen from the perspective of Susan who is on stage for the whole of the play. The audience sees and hears what she sees and hears After suffering a blow on the head from a garden rake, we get the real life action and the fantasy life hallucinations in Susan's daily life.
Ruth Cattell played the part of Susan gave a very good performance (a lot of lines to remember).
Good support came from her real family, her boring husband vicar Gerald played by Richard Delahaye a dotty sister-in-law played by Di Mcann and their estranged son played by Sam Hunt , The fantasy family , husband Andy was played by Pete Chambers, daughter Lucy played by Amy Evans and son played by David Seabury. The final member of the cast being Mark Middleton as Bill Windsor the Doctor. The garden set worked well. I felt that the lighting could have helped the plot if there had been changes to define reality and hallucinations.
Congratulations on a well acted and a difficult production.
