Described as `off the wall farce`, this was a good interpretation of the mad plot, and with fifteen people on the tight confines of the Guildhall stage, Nigel Taylor had obviously worked well with the strong cast using the stage area most efficiently.

Josh Hayes, as the `Clouseau type` Inspector of Police Benjamin Braddock, gave an exemplary performance, with Eleanor Mallinson as his very knowledgeable assistant, Alma Threedle, who was a most equally proficient foil. These two provided the main impetus, keeping the flow moving. Angel Swift excelled as Lady Monica Wickenham, along with Graham Swift as her husband, Lord Wickenham, who was allegedly bumped off at the interval. David Jones was Pierre Pourre, with an over the top French accent and Zach Hayes as the equally over the top upper class butler, and along with Liz Woolley, the snooping houseguest from Alabama, they  covered the quirky dialect accent club hilariously.  There were also good performances  from Joshua Robinson, as the Wickenham`s son, Karen Jones, as fashion designer Bibi Cavendish  and Jessica Baird as the `Unidentified Blonde.

The set, technical effects and lighting were most effective.  Well done on a great team effort.
