This hilariously funny play provided an excellent start to the new season at the Lion Theatre. Set in the late1980's in a London flat, there were plenty of reminders of that era. Farce needs excellent timing and this team was easily up to this requirement. All the characters were very well played. Darren Yates was excellent as the luckless Howard who was the first to have his trousers stolen. Young Shannon Woodley was utterly believable as Tove; Shaun Bates' portrayal of the 'upper crust' Captain Webber was very pleasing and Sam Colley was great as the young policeman. His tango with Howard [who happened to be in 'drag' at the time] was quite sensational. The set was extremely well constructed and stood up nicely to all the door slamming and frantic chasing this play required. It was a highly entertaining. Very well done, everyone.
