Not afraid of hard work, Andrea took on all the three main production roles and produced an excellent and entertaining evening, treating us to varied selections from popular musicals. The performance was very well presented and all the musical items performed with fine interpretation and feeling. The Group was able to draw upon many members for the individual items and it did demonstrate the depth of talent within the membership with very good performances from all and a nice balance in the duets trios etc. The chorus numbers were particularly good especially in the finale with the Les Miserables choruses where the control, attack and diction were excellent. The accompaniment was well performed and was also a good balance with those on stage. The simple set was fine and used well. Overall a lovely musical evening – congratulations to all involved.
