We Will Rock You

With big songs and larger than life, over the top characters We Will Rock You is a show that requires real vision and energy and Ayr delivered a performance that certainly delivered on both fronts.

Mark Finnigan delivered an assured and confident performance as Galileo capturing the quirks of the role whilst delivering the big songs with ease. Matching his performance was Abbie Hand in the role of Scaramouche delivering her lines with great comedy timing and vocals that were powerful. There was a real connection between them which added to their performances.

As Killer Queen, Wendy Cannell gave a big performance with great stage presence and killer vocals. As her assistant Khashoggi, Andrew Robinson, captured the character well delivering an assured performance.

As the leading Bohemians Brit, played by David Cannell, Oz, played by Ciara McCabe and Buddy, played by Robbie Alexander, they all in their own way contributed so much to the overall success of the show delivering engaging performances.

The cast of Gaga Girls, Bohemians, Yuppies etc. are an integral part to the success of the show and every single person on stage was clearly giving their all.

Staging and costumes were effective, lighting enhanced the look and feel and the band certainly rocked but never over-powered. Direction allowed the performances to shine through whilst choreography was imaginative.
