Set in Yorkshire, a number of unlikely hikers arrive in ‘ The Hall’, a privately run hostel on the Pennine Way .

As always the set was excellent and dressed to perfection . RLT has a skilled & enthusiastic group of setbuilders .

I don’t particularly like commenting on individual performances , but credit must go to Frank Stamp , who not only directed the play , but also played extremely well a very large part in the production .

All members of the cast brought their characters to life & judging from the audience reaction - they really liked it .

A few pointers :

. Some of the pauses were a little too long & I thought a prompt was needed.

. There were quite a few prompts; that said it is a very wordy script .

. Occasionally , dialogue continued while the audience were still laughing .

. Dialogue was sometimes gabbled . I put this down to inexperience .

Well done to everyone involved both on and off the stage . I look forward to “little voice” in May .
