This play was extremely well presented, portraying 2 generations in the magical house. Tom (Ciaran Casey) and Hattie (Antonia Elsey) were excellent in their roles, along with Tom’s brother Peter (Ciaran Duggan - who sat at the side of the stage for most of the night) and Hattie’s cousins - all their diction and clarity of voice gave the older players something to think about. The young chorus members were well trained and in the past era were suitably eerie in their ghostly grey costumes portraying garden features and rocks and not moving an inch The set was well thought out and worked extremely well. The sound effects worked well and the projections on the equipment supplied in memory of George Postill were very worthwhile. Well done Ian for a good evening’s entertainment.
