What a performance! This Kander and Webb compilation was exhausting to watch as the cast of 29 sang and danced their socks off while the 7 piece band played non-stop (apart from the interval) throughout. The show started with the strong clear voice of Iris Holt singing The World Goes 'Round (from New York, New York) and ended appropriately 38 songs later with sole voices and the ensemble singing New York, New York, with many musical delights in between, including Mr Cellophane (Roger Wettone), and All That Jazz (Leanna Purslow) (Chicago), Marry Me (Tim Coles)(The Rink) and Only Love (Lisa Eddy)(Zorba). To sum up, this was a very enjoyable eveing of high voltage entertainment.
