THE WIZARD OF OZ

I must first congratulate Ossett Youth Theatre on succeeding to re-form and changing their name from e.chaos as previously named with such success. The casting in all roles was excellent all giving well produced portrayals in every part. Jess Winstanley (Dorothy) acted and sang with great confidence, giving a fine mature performance that was much to be admired. Dorothy's travelling companions along the Yellow Brick Road -  Scarecrow (Connor Hodkin), Tin Man (Isaac Haley) and Lion (Chelsea Walker) were all outstanding. They all touched our hearts with their fine performances and Nicole Ackroyd was most impressive in her role as the Wicked Witch.The scenery and props were well organised and the staging was good. The small orchestra was excellent and did much to enhance this most enjoyable production.
