The Wicked Witches of Oz

What better way to spend a wet and windy afternoon in February than to

fly off to the wonderful city of "OZ". And that is exactly what I

did!    A superb cast was led by Gemma Young as "Dorothy", well

supported by the 9 members of the company.  Everyone played their parts

brilliantly  - Jill Colson "Tin Man", Chris Hobson "Scarecrow" and Vikki

Morton as "Lion".  A very "Wicked Witch of the West"  - Rhiannon George

-  lots of booing from the children in the audience, who were obviously

enjoying themselves!  A great "Toto"  (Joel Dobb) and Matthew George

("The Wizard of Oz"),  Rachel Dobb ("Drip" his manservant) and Ann King

as "Munchy "  (short for munchkin).  Congratulations must go to Ken

Roberts as "Aunty Em and "Momby" the Wicked Witch of the North. I lost

count of the  number of costume changes he had!  A really great

pantomime by Hardingstone Players and one that Director, Alison Roberts

and MD Simon Wolfenden must be so proud of. It was GREAT!
