Well, it’s all happening in Bikini Bottom, another day under the sea. SpongeBob Square Pants, the sponge is full of joy, but things are starting to happen. Mount Humongous, the volcano, is about to erupt and destroy Bikini Bottom. What’s going to happen, can Spongebob and his friends stop the destruction. Who knows. With Patchy The Pirate interacting with the audience this was a fun production in the making.
Spongebob was played by Andrew Morrison who made the part his own. Full on energy. He was well supported by Elliott Wright, AJ Lees and David Morrison. I really enjoyed the performance of Aqib Isaac as Mr. Krabs.
Tobias Warrender shone as Patchy The Pirate. Great support came from the remainder of the principals. I wish I had enough room to mention all this very talented group of young people, who are the future of amateur theatre.
Costumes looked good from an audience point of view and the scenery made full use of the stage.
Well done to everyone involved and I look forward to seeing you all soon at your summer concert.
