Presented by the Youth Group  of Long Eaton Operatic Society, this musical by Malcolm Sircom contains characters associated with Phantom of the Opera, Young Frankenstein, The Rocky Horror Show, The Addams Family and oddly Rebecca, from Daphne Du Maurier`s novel of the same name,  all mixed together to provide an entertaining musical evening.   An eager enthusiastic cast worked very hard and were rewarded  by an appreciative audience.

Jack Woolley as Daniel Stoker, and Lilli Woodhouse as Rebecca Shelley had quite a lot of difficult dialogue, but pulled it off with ease.  Good performances by Megan Fennell, Ed Hewes, Emily Corner, with support from Kheenan Jones, Sheree Strickland, and Georgia Archer, an excellent Mrs Danvers.  There were lovely cameos from Megan Leatherland as the station mistress, Ryan Phelps as the Preacher, and a delightful performance by Josh Jones as Elvis.   Bringing glamour to the show were the five singing ` Superbs`,   and joining the whole thing together the `Narrators`.

A most effective set, very well costumed, and supported by an excellent musical duo.  Congratulations to all on a lively well  presented ` odd ball` musical.
