Peter James script was really brought to life by Circle Players, playing to a audience who appreciated all the hard work put into this production. I do have to compliment the set designers and builders, Lee Tregellis, Bob Jeffcoat and members of Circle Players, for this production as they managed to put four rooms onto the stage.
Victor (Lee Tregellis) and Joan (Anne Troman) are very unhappily married. Infact they plan to murder each other. Victor is seeing Kamila (Vicki Troman) while Joan is seeing Don Kirk (Clive Barlow). Don spoke a lot in cockney rhyming slang even through he came from a town in the south and not London. . When Joan hits Victor over the head with a hammer and kills him (or does she), their new freezer comes in very useful to store his body for Don to dispose of later. Its up to Detective Constable Roy Grace (John Richardson ) and so called physic Kamila to workout what really happened.
The stage crew worked well in between the scenes making the changes very slick.
Gill Troman did a sterling job with the very talented cast.
