The Odd Couple

In the hands of two very accomplished players, Nick Grainger as Oscar and Steve Illidge playing the part of Felix, Festival  Players were on to a sure winner with this well written and well known Neil Simon play. They held their audience from start to finish with good timing and getting the most out of their parts. They were well supported by the remaining gentlemen of the cast namely Norman Hockley - Speed, Chris Nixon - Murray, Ian Swift - Vinnie and Ashley Bright - Roy.

The two ladies of the cast Cathy Rackstraw as Gwen and Rachel Ingham as Cecily added another dimension with their interesting portrayals.

The set once again was well constructed and gave the audience a superb focal point even before the action started.

Good to see the Noda Award as part of the ornaments.!!
