The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe

I was delighted to be able to view the recent production from this group of youngsters. The confidence and enjoyment was evident as the play unfolded. I could see the work that has been built on from previous years and the development of the youth group into a strong core of young actors. Well done to the youth leaders who are giving these children these fantastic opportunities.

The clever staging, set design and props enhanced the story and the costumes were clever in their portrayal of the different characters. Although some of the sound and lighting enhancements were missing I know these will be in place for the show run.

This group is all about inclusion and I loved the way that this story allowed for double casting and numerous cameo roles to give the cast their chance to shine. This group are also supported by young crew members and tech.

To Alex, Evie, Eilidh, Martha, Marie, Shayla, Emilia, Charlie, Erin, Safiyyah, Lexi, Megan, Amy, Rosie, Harvey, Morven, Iris, Ari, Dakota, Axel, Charlotte and Ephriam I hope you  enjoy the week of the show.
