The King and I

This Rodgers and Hammersteins classic expertly directed etc by team as above.The cast, who worked tirelessly as a team never let the pace drop. I had to pinch myself,  as the oldest member of cast was just 16 years of age. The diction and projection were excellent throughout, as was the balance of the orchestra which at no time prevented the audience from hearing all the lib and score. I congratulated him on this at the end of the evening.

I do not intend to single out any cast member in this review, as I believe that teamwork was the ultimate aim of the production team, which in my opinion they achieved magnificently. A special thank you must be made for the costumes which I was advised were made by parents of the cast. Meeting the cast on stage at the end of the performace was a pleasure and delight for me.

To sum up, I really feel that the entire cast deseved their applause at the end. I look forward to further visits to see this very talented group and hope that their enthusiasm for this wonderful world of drama never wains.
