This was a first rate production with excellent leads, strong choral support and a bevy of delightful children. The 'Small House of Uncle Thomas' ballet was exquisitely performed with a particularly well-rehearsed commentary from Tuptim [Rachel Mowbray] and a number of the King's Wives. It would be wrong of me to select any other actors for special mention for they all did so very well. The band accompanied most carefully throughout the show. The set was very effective and reflected extremely well the different aspects of the King's Palace as well as the Bangkok dockside. The colourful costumes were a notable feature of this production and the lighting and other effects were truly complementary. A very accomplished production. Well done, everyone.
