An old friend assured me this was an excellent production. How right he was! I thoroughly enjoyed the singing, acting and dancing throughout. The set was first rate while all the costumes were absolutely superb and a real credit to those responsible for them. Trevor Fenton's masterly portrayal of the King was equalled by that of Katy Meadows as Anne. Sandra Colman was notable as Lady Thiang and Tony Crowther played the Kralahome with aplomb. Connor Taylor and Peter Blevins were pleasing as young Louis and Prince Chululongkorn and the rest of the named characters were strong in support. The Royal Wives together with the Royal Dancers were impressive, but of course, it was the Royal Children who really stole the show. They were very appealing. The orchestra's accompaniment was good and both the sound and lighting were complementary. As I said, this was an excellent show. Well done
