~~We all think of 101 as Walt Disney but reading the programme it was written by Dodie Smith as a play in 1956 and popularised by Walt in 1961.
It was great to see the players are supporting Woofability with this production.
There is a well organised set, with 14 scene changes slickly done.
Good band and singer.
The costumes and makeup are well designed.
Ponto (Harriet Cairnes) & Missis (Alla Mills ) worked very well together, not easy when you are crawling around on the floor barking as dogs most of the time, but didn’t they do it well and the changes when the humans left the room and the dogs talked was very clever well done. I liked how the birth of the puppies was done it was very interestingly portrayed .
Cruella de Vil (Becky North) stamped her mark on the part.
The whole cast of young and adult members did very well and brought in a very interesting production, and I liked it when the stage filled with Dalmatians in their characters, plus balloons and a real treat, 3 real dogs at the end, the audience applause was wholly in favour of a good show. Thank you we really enjoyed the show.
