It has been some years since I had the pleasure of attending a performance by Pepperpot Players but this production was well worth the wait. This farce by Joan Greening is a romp of the usual proportions of sexual innuendo, double meanings and general mis-understandings. The author is attending the last night of the performance and I'm sure she will be very pleased with Pepperpots interpretation and production. The ten strong cast were all well chosen and obviously enjoyed their roles as much as the audience who were kept laughing throughout. Michael Feather (Marcus DeLorenzo)was excellent in the lead role but there was no shortfall in any of the performances. The excellent set was designed and constructed in house so a big cheer for the designer and constructors. Lighting and sound were first class. The novel idea of having the audience sitting at tables with food provided during the interval but bring your own drinks, was a lovely way to watch a production. Thank you for your hospitality and providing us with a nice bottle of wine. A memorable evening all round and we look forward to seeing your next production 'Whistle Down the Wind'.
