This proved to be a most enjoyable evening. It was a delight to see so much talent on stage. The chorus were well trained and included beautiful solo dances by Jennifer Dagnall. She gave a super performance, dancing to the music of Summertime. She also tap danced to Kate Nixon playing a stunning `Cry me a River` on saxophone. Kate also played a brilliant `Feeling Good`.
We were treated to more talent as Wayne Gibson played on guitar as Megan Hill sang `You`re the Best`.
All the singers gave great performances. Among these were George La Rae, who sang `Copacabana` and a great `Karma Chameleon`. You have a great voice, hope to see more of you in future.
I was impressed with all the other solos and duets including Ian Dean-Boardman and Wayne Gibson singing the duet `Under the Boardwalk`. Other numbers well sung included `Sun ain`t gonna Shine` and` Dance the Night Away.
Costumes were very colourful, sound and lighting well thought out.
I was delighted to see a small table decorated with the nominations and trophies won at the NODA awards evening. The programme also had a half page Society News with info about the awards.
My congratulations to nominees and winners. Thank you so much for the invitation.
