Steel Magnolias

Well Festival Players have done it again bringing a first class line up of female talent to Loughborough. Sally Bruton-Lang was indeed blessed with a strong line up in this her first adult production and first for Festival Players. Every detail of the play was thought through and delivered to the audiience with a good pace.  The humour, friendships and pathos of this play by Robert Harding were all portrayed by the six ladies and to single anyone out would be very hard to do.  The deep south accent was maintained throughout by all characters. The set of the beauty shop was brilliantly built with again attention to detail followed through - Andrew McGowan's sets always give the audience something to take in before the show starts. Look forward to The 39 Steps in June.
