Starlight Express

YOG performed Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express where a child’s imagination comes to life with racing trains, a love story and the mystical Starlight Express.

There was an outstanding cast consisting of Kaitlin Berridge as Dinah who plays an excellent role prorating a verity of emotions with a lovely vocal voice.  Jessie Paprotny as Momma has a lovely softness to her voice and plays the role effortlessly.  Mason Daw as Greaseball and Aidan Watson as Electra have wonderful performances each trying to outdo each other on the track.

Kirsten Hamilton as Pearl and Callum McArthur as Rusty each brought their individual characters to life with great acting and vocals and their performances were a joy to watch.

Elsie Harris had one of the hardest jobs being on stage throughout the whole show but always stayed in character and gave an excellent performance.

emaining cast all gave superb all round performances from individual cameo roles you could see all gave their all and the energy never dropped.

Congratulations to all as musical can be hard enough to perform and this young cast did it all on Rollerskates which is not an easy thing to do.

The Set, costumes, make-up, lights sound all came together and fell in to place for this production and massive congratulations to everyone involved.

YOG never disappoint and this was an amazing and enjoyable performance.
