This heartwarming supernatural comedy was first produced and staged in 2010. It is a very cleverly constructed play balancing laugh out loud humour with moments of intense pathos. When famous crime writer Jack Cameron and his wife Susie die in a boating accident in Italy, they are refused entry into Heaven because Jack is a card-carrying atheist. They return to their beloved cottage as spirits. As poltergeist, they enjoy frightening the estate agent and any prospective buyers or renters. But when a young couple, Simon, himself and aspiring crime writer and his pregnant wife Flic move in, the spirits related to them. Simon, struggling with the plot of his latest book, was seen as a budding protégé and intrigued Jack with the similarities to his latent profession. The ghostly couple decide to help and support where they can, leading to some very funny and at times moving scenes.

The Cast...
George Lowe played ‘Jack Cameron’
Perfectly cast, George captured the essence of the character exuding a natural charm. A standout scene - where Jack hears the baby isn't breathing and, finding religion, saves the precious new life with seconds to spare.

Liz Munro played ‘Susie Cameron’
A well-rounded performance conveying just the right level of care and ethereal beliefs. Well Done.

Gordon O’Brien played ‘Mark Webster’
Gordon lived the part. Maintaining a professional demeanour, despite being the focus of the spirit’s mischievous humour.

Conor Morris played ‘Simon Willis’
Connor displayed just the right level of incredulous understanding, resisting the temptation to over act, whilst drawing out the funnier parts of the script.

Noah Brogan played ‘Felicity Willis’
Excellent chemistry with Simon, convincingly sensing his struggles whilst she was carrying their baby; unfazed by her overbearing Mother. A memorable moment was when she reacts to the spirit telling her not to waste a moment of her life.

Pamela Foster played ‘Marcia Bradshaw’
The ultimate nosy, snobby boundary crossing Mother-in-Law. Played to perfection.  A really standout very funny seduction scene with the Estate Agent.

Betty Swift played Guardian Angel
A softly spoken Guardian Angel with an inner sense of fun. Humorous, yet tasteful, Christian ideology. A very funny but moving scene where she guides the spirits to heaven.
