ROAMS performed Monty Pythons Spamalot, which follows King Arthur's quest to find the Holy Grail.

The principal cast of Stuart Esworthy as King Arthur was excellently played with great comedic timing and interactions with the cast. King Arthur's sidekick, Patsy, played by Jen Brauston, was another strong comedic role and a constant source of humour throughout the performance both parts very enjoyable to watch in both characterisation and vocal ability.

Elizabeth Gaynon, the Lady of the Lake, was impressive  to watch, and had very strong vocals and left you wanting more.

The Knights of the Round Table made up are Lancelot, (Matthew Burns), Galahad (Roy Healey) Robin (Craig Lawrence) Bedevere (Gareth Walters) were all enjoyable to watch, each bringing their characters to life and bringing their own comedy to the individual roles.

The remaining principal cast the historian (Jennie Pearce)) Minstrel (Marie Stitson) Mayor (Lucy Lee) all played their roles well and together with the principal cast and ensemble, ensemble who took on many of the varying roles were all played successfully.

I'm always impressed when societies can create an enjoyable show with smaller sets and stage and the creativity and congratulations must go to all the production team, as this was no exception. The choreography, music, lighting and costumes all added to an enjoyable afternoons entertainment.  (My 8year old nephew was very amused!)
