A delightful Cabaret evening featuring songs from many musicals with a selection of Christmas specials.. 

The well thought out social entertainment evening takes place in a large easily accessed social club. The room decked out with Xmas trees and colourful  lights, along with the stage red curtains  certainly provides that seasonal feeling. In the interval you can have a pea and pie supper, and a bar is just to the side of the main room. Tables of 6-8 spread round the room all with candles and an informative mini programme all make the cabaret style production. 

The 30 plus musical numbers from solos to duets, small groups to full ensemble cover a tremendous range from Oliver to Les Mis , Moulin Rouge to West Side Story, Shrek to Matilda and so much more.

The commendable outcome of this style of evening is the opportunity for so many to share their individual talent. The overall volume of solos undertaken by so many is testament to the society’s strength in depth. 

The simplicity of the dress and suits worked well , the clever staging and shaping was very well thought out allowing for the 30 plus strong  cast to all see and be seen. 

I particularly enjoyed the extensive musical selection, fromgentle ballads, to moving emotional numbers through to powerful almost belt songs. The production team certainly tested you all, but testament to the excellent outcome achieved. Great singing, well staged choreography and many moments of magic between the actors.

This is not a review to mention names except to say you all gave a powerful team performance throughout.
