Congratulations to Poulton Drama for continually pushing the boundaries and performing work that has them living on the edge and taking risks. The play set in Beirut circa 1980 gives a very graphic insight into the lives of three hostages and the inhuman conditions in which they were incarcerated, one stone walled cell, chained by ankle shackles to the wall, no daylight and gradually not knowing if it was night or day or what day or what time of the year it was. The three men Chris Bill ( Adam an American), Michael Holdsworth ( Edward an American)  and Anthony Henry

( Michael an Englishman ) who play the hostages, give unbelievable stellar performances, creating many diverse moods to maintain their sanity and their fitness, doing press ups and various excercises, also including, relating, given the opportunity, what they would say in a letter home.
