The Kippax Society pulled out all the stops in this very fine Diamond Jubilee production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The strong cast was well led by Kate Morgan as Snow White she gave a lovely understated portrayal just perfect for the role as she played opposite Victoria Johnson (Prince Leopold) who was a supreme principal boy with a very strong vibrant style. The comedy was provided by Keith Speight (Dame Dolly Dumpling) and Michael Tattersall (Billy Whizz) they both worked their socks off with a constant flow of jokes and audience participation that kept the show buzzing along. Annette Conway as Queen Sinistra was suitably spiteful a most convincing performance and was most ably assisted by Fraser Sugden as the Magic Mirror a lovely small cameo portrayal. The seven dwarfs were all superbly trained with their acting singing and dancing. John Hewitt (Lord High Chancellor) Matthew Finnemore (The Huntsman) Emma Greenwood (Hocus Pocus) and Valerie Green (Dr. Phantasm) all completed a very strong company line up. As always with this society the choreography was just fantastic I just loved all the routines. The costumes were brilliant and of the highest possible lavish standard. So much to enjoy from this Diamond Jubilee Production.
