The show started with Fairy Lalande, Fairy Epsilon and Fairy Alexa played wonderfully by Siobhon Thornley, Bethan Arnold and Shaznay Creary each portraying their own personalities and each showcasing a wonderful talent of acting and musical ability.
You are soon transported into the kingdom where you meet the King (Kenneth Rearder) and Queen (Gaynor Williams) smaller but well played roles. Carrabosse (Danielle Burrows) arrived, played how you would expect, wicked and perfectly evil and worked very well with Percival Crow (Clare Sykes) who has been transformed into a more human Crow. Claire captured the essence of the Crow perfectly and both were a delight to watch.
Prince Henry (Connor Harvey-Ward) arrives as a blind date but soon finds out that it is not what was planned and had a wonderful stage presence throughout the show.
Nanny Nora (Jon Andrews) and Muddles (Ian Meikle) do not disappoint as a comedy due both have a wealth of talent and always perform to a high standard.
The principle cast is rounded off with Aurora (Zsofia Preddle). Having seen her as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz it was exciting to see what was to come and was not disappointed, being a very big Aladdin fan I found the version of Speechless as mesmerising as the first time I heard it. Zsofia was a pleasure to watch and listen to.
The chorus and musical numbers were fun, energetic and entertaining, there were jokes for kids and adults.
The costumes, music and set all just added to a brilliant written, directed and choreographed script full of traditional Panto magic.
