This was another enjoyable panto written by the very talented Betty Morris.
As always it is really good to see young Magna on stage with the senior Magna. The show opened with colourful costumes and bright and colourful set and a toe tapping tune. The tunes had the feet definitely tapping with choreography by Laura Gwynne and Val Lewis.
Special mentions must go to Deadly Nightshade played by Laura Gwynne who had a fab costume and got the boos and hisses her character deserved and Nurse Goody played by Chris Holt. I loved the red boots Nurse Goody ended up in after the “Wake Me Up” number. I loved the interaction during one scene of Fandango, played by Charlotte Gwynne and Bilge played by Cian Holt. Also the young cast who played the various ages of the characters and Wizards Helper.
As always with live theatre things can go wrong like a space ship deciding to fall over but everyone carried on as you do but it provided the audience with a good giggle.
It was lovely to see Alan the Horse back as Aled the sheep with his handler, Fairy Lavender played by Hilary Jones.
It was a really good fun evening and thank you to Magna for inviting me.
