Sister Act

Sister Act during 2015 and 2016 has been one of the favourite vehicles for musical societies. The whole show hinges around Deloris. This production moulded because they had a very strong Deloris but all the cast built upon her work. The emotions of this character came across from the moment she witnessed the murder through her time in the convent and the way her relationship built with the nuns. There was a very tight relationship between the music, choreography and actions which kept the whole thing moving well. Scenery, costumes and lights were very good. The only very slight fault was sometimes the length of time in silence between scenes for scenery changes. However this did not detract from a first-class entertainment and I am sure that the society were pleased to perform this for us. It was nice to see total teamwork at every stage of the evening and it is true to say that the audience left wanting more. We all look forward to their offering in 2017.
