It tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier an aspiring singer in the 70’s who was wanting to hit the big time but unfortunately, she witnessed her gangster boyfriend Curtis, commit a murder which meant she was put under protective custody in a convent. she soon finds herself working with the choir that brought friendships and sisterhood that she had never known before.

Delores played by Kimberley Hazzard stole the show as she was rarely off stage and with such a powerful singing voice and comedy timing was one of the best I have ever seen, I could have listened to her all night.

Her Boyfriend Curtis played by Jack Pike was very convincing in his role with his partners in crime who all bonded well together.

Daniel MacCreedy was great as Eddie the police officer who was in love with Deloris, he sang so well, and his presence was felt on stage.

Victoria Vaughan was superb as the strict Mother Superior, sang so beautifully on stage.

Eric Finlay as Monsignor O Hara was ideal as the Irish Cleric adding a lot of humour to the role which had the audience chuckling.

Sister Mary Roberts played by Evie Askew totally captured the sweetness of the character and when she sang The life I never Led was just awesome.

Sister Mary Patrick played by Sarah Deans brought a lot of humour to the show and presented herself well on stage.

What can I say about Sister Mary Lazarus played by Emily Houghton, she must have had the deepest voice I have ever heard and every time she spoke the audience were all laughing but my favourite part was the Rap she sang it was so good.

To have a good musical you need to have a good ensemble and everyone on stage contributed so much to make this a good show so well done to you all.

Choreographers Linzi Wilkinson and Adam MacCreedy did so well with the dance routines as they were so lively, I could see the audience moving in their seats every time there was a fast pace song and dance happening.

Congratulations must go to Mark Hazzard the musical director and his band, they sounded so good.

Lights and sound were good especially with it being the first night so well done to Oliver Jenkinson and Joey Inglesfield.

I have got to give a huge shout out to the costumes especially for the finale, they were outstanding and looked so good on stage.

The only thing I have left to say is well done to you all for putting on a good show, it was very entertaining and a joy to watch.
