The Junior members opened with Seussical Jnr nicely directed by Amanda with plenty of movement and good character development. The musical side had been well prepared by David Hails although a few nerves on the opening performance did reduce the volume on occasions. Tom Blacklock was a very strong Cat vocally and dramatically with lots of character. James Murray was great as Horton while Hannah Tasker provided a lovely performance as Jojo and Eva Sheppard as Gertrude sang beautifully and acted every moment on stage. There was good support from all on stage with plenty of prospective talent on view. Costumes and lighting were fine and added to the visual effect. The Senior members provided a selection of items after the interval, demonstrating a wide range of talent in music, drama and dance, while the group selections from Rent and Liitle Shop of Horrors were particularly well presented and performed. There were fine performances in all the individual items, and it was great to see the lads taking part in the two lovely dance routines which were beautifully choreographed by Jessica Royce. It was certainly a showcase of young talent nurtured by a dedicated team who have obviously put in a lot of hard work.
