Serenade

A selection of songs, old and new, from a very enthusiastic and talented company. The venue in the Sun Pavilion of the Valley Gardens had the audience seated at tables on 2 sides of the space with the singers and dancers performing between them, on the stairs at one end and on a small platform at the other. The Director had used the available space with great accomplishment  presenting  solos, duos, small groups and full company choruses that kept the whole show moving without a break.  The whole gave everyone a chance to shine and they all took the opportunity to show what they could do.  The costumes provided by the company, were very colourful and added to the party atmosphere.  The singing, both solos and the full company, was excellent as was the trio who provided the musical backing. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and showed it by their generous and prolonged applause at the end.
