Coventry Youth Operetta Group performed School of Rock as failed rock star Dewey Finn gets kicked out of his own band, he uses his best friend's identity to pose s  School Teacher to earn some money, we then follow the story as the class  he teaches becomes the “School of Rock”

The Principle Cast consisted of: -

Sam Edwards as Dewey Finn was played with energy and confidence with superb vocal and acting ability.

Hudson Mansour-Webb as Ned Schneebly was a good performance in the role the character was spot on and enjoyable to watch.

Darcey White Patty was done very well and with a good  singing voice,  her expressions and body language gave a  great performance.

Elise Harris Ms Rosalie Mullins the Teacher was wonderfully portrayed.. Her gradual transformation into a more relaxed and human persona was beautifully done Elise seemed to be struggling with an illness and her performance was even more impressive.

The remainder of the chorus performed well and credit to go to all those that played live on stage all songs and choreography was performed well. The set was excellently done, with lighting and costumes complimenting the show.

An enjoyable evening.
