Wow! This show rocked, Strong characters, Sublime singing and stylish dancing. Well done production team your vision shone through. I hope you are all bursting with pride at your achievement. You should be!!!!

All of the main characters gave their all to the show. Drew (Oliver Anderson) performed with strong vocals and a well-played naivety which paired delightfully with Sherrie (Amy Reilly). Amy gave Sherrie a lovely voice, strong characterisation and great moves.

The pairing of Lonny (Ryan Smart) and Dennis Dupree (Mitch Scott-Bell) was a match made in heaven. Their comic timing was on the ball and the interaction between them and the audience had us in stiches. All this with great vocals.

I love a bit of sleaze and Stuart Cuthbert gave me plenty playing Stacee Jaxx. Delightfully obnoxious, a real love to hate character, the complete opposite to Justice played by Lorraine Tufft. This lady was the hard nut with a heart of gold, stylishly portrayed and oozing with class.

I love sleaze but I also love misunderstood characters. I wanted to take Franz (Aiden French) home. A masterclass in supreme campiness’ with athletic moves and a strong German accent. What was not to love? Ably supported by his dominant mother Helenga (Elinor Hay) and would be girlfriend Regina (Ashley MaFarlane) this trio of powerful performers put the icing on a delicious cake. The principal vocal performances were all first class.

The company also gave their all with dancing and singing of the highest standard. The enjoyment flowed from the stage into the delighted audience and took us all into a rock paradise.

I was very impressed by the simple but effective staging. The use of the video panels were so right for this show. The costumes were the correct amount of rock and roll with a bit of sass on the side. Lighting and sound were well directed, I especially liked how the lights picked up the action and the different sound effects that were used. Backstage heros were efficiently unseen as it should be.

I enjoyed every moment of the performance and was delighted to deputise for Mike. Again, well done LAMA. Thank you for your welcome and the tasty scone and tea at half time. Would be happy to visit again to see this talented group in action. Thank you for having me.
