I could review this Pantomime in one word “Stupendous” James and Mike Simpson you should be very proud of yourselves and your cast for such a perfect evening’s entertainment. You had every element of pantomime in this ‘Robinson Crusoe’. Perfect set, absolutely beautiful costumes, pyrotechnics, even down to swimming fish, wonderful just wonderful. Music wasn’t over the top, which sometimes can happen in Panto and with Edwin Pitt Mansfield on the baton as Musical Director his choice was perfect for this cast. Choreography was performed with gusto, thanks to Sally Warsop and her two teams Patch and Bessie. Stage sets, lighting and sound were professionally organised, by, Mike Simpson and his crew, what a team !!!I tried to find something in the evening to “home in” on, but I could not find anything to criticize, nothing, this must be a first for me. There wasn’t a weak link in this cast, not one, and because of this I am not going to single anyone out. This cast all performed to a very high professional standard and the camaraderie between them shone over the footlights. West Wickham Pantomime Society you continue to get better and better every time I visit you, keep it up, and thank you for a “Perfect” Robinson Crusoe. Well Done.
