I’m always greeted well at MOS, it was good to see Pat Browning, MOS’s President. I was given a superb programme all in green. Great!! I knew I was in for a good night at the panto. MOS never fail; it was smashing. Shall I stop there? NO!

Stuart Clements as Director and as Tuck played a blinder both in direction and on stage. I wonder if anyone messed up the word Tuck? Stuart you should be proud of your excellent cast. With you and Harcus Cooper as writers you gave us (your audience) a well written and different Robin Hood. Stuart your naughty portrayal of Tuck was hilarious, and Harcus Cooper as the Sheriff of Nottingham, nobody loved him, and that’s how it should be when played right, and it was, Harcus.

We couldn’t have had a better Dame in Lloyd Newstead (Trixie Twostoots) such energy and stage presence. Perfect!! And those hats, Lloyd, were a wonder. Was this due to Donna Clements and her team of costume ladies? Everyone on the stage looked so good in their costumes, and what a set of finale costumes, well done ladies. Ian MacKenzie as Stage Manager brought it all together and the show moved along nicely. With spot on sound and lighting by Jamie Patterson.

Our love interest Robin Hood, played by Jasmin Brooks, and Natsha Richardson as Maid Marion were ideally paired both having great acting ability and vocals to match. Joining the leading players were supporting actors, Tyler Nicholson as Marlene, Ben Chapman as Colin Crumpet, Jodie Hibbert as Will Scarlet, Guy Underwood as Little John and James Smith as Alan A’Dale - these five gave great support. I witnessed Team Arrows (I think?) but I’m sure Team Bows are equally as good as you were.

This Robin Hood was a very pleasing new, and fresh look at Robin Hood and his merry men with direction by Stuart and super chorography by Amy Simpson and Hannah Prentice-Whitney. Also voice coaching by Jasmin Brooks.
