This was a completely new Pantomime written by one of their members, Jim Smith.  This was an enjoyable panto and as always was good to see a wide variety of ages represented on stage.  Jim Smith apart from writing the panto was on stage playing The Professor in a lovely Harry Potter Hagrid looking wig.  He also displayed his Gilbert & Sullivan patter skills with bits of the periodic table along with Urania and Velcro played well by Jess Squire and Rodney Bowdler respectively.  David Hepworth who played Mrs Vacuum was a replacement for an indisposed David Francis and played the part very well.  The costumes and scenery were lovely and colourful and especially was very clever with the spaceship taking over at the end of Act 1.  Robbie the Robot was played well by Eloise King and the make up for Robbie was good. I liked when they were flying through the space and the younger chorus were walking from one side to the other with a star on a stick.  All parts were well played and was lovely that some of the young cast got some lines.  It was a really lovely show and well done Jim Smith.
