Stephen Duckham has taken a traditional pantomime and turned it on its head. With a touch of Article 50 and a new railway line in the offering (HS2 and a bit) there is no need for a referendum here!
Barroness De Brexit is now an MP and needs to get her hands on some land for the new railway extention, but the Three Little Pigs have there three house's there and thats where the fun begins. Will the people of the village of Fermley on the Fiddle let them get away with it or are they all to busy getting ready for Red Ridding Hood's surprise bithday party. Of course good trihumps over evil in the end with lots of fun on the way.
A pantos strength lies in its dame and this show had a great one in Kenny Robinson as Aunt Flo.A very funnyguy. Varroness De Brexit was played by Amanda Dodd, and how the audience booed her. A good performance. She was well supported by Geoff Barker- Mountford as Dull, who kept a straight face all the way through. Red Riding Hood was performed in style by Nikki Cross, who sang well. Des McCann as the policeman together with Harry Bowser, Michael Brooks and Ashley Clifford supported well. Katie Siggs as Bo Peep finally found her sheep. And as for those three little pigs - very cute!
Sally Jolliffe's choreography kept the company going, especially her woodland ballet. Very powerfull. The set was well designed and the costumes colourful.
We done to you all. Looking forward to next year.
