Pricilla Queen of the Desert

Forfar is back folks! With a bang! It is a great feeling as a NODA rep to see a society reborn. One word only can describe this production FABULOUS.

Right from the opening the Divas commanded the stage. Tick/Mitzi (Tom Richmond), Bernadette (Drew Knox) and Adam/Felicia (Hugh Johnstone) were played with style, strength and a touch of sensitivity. You love them all and feel every emotion.

The Divas and supporting cast were of a very high standard. Each putting a lot of effort into their roles which completed the picture. Well done to Cali, Terri and Eilidh as the Divas your singing and dancing were top notch. The comedy was handled expertly by Andy, Jen, Darren, Claire and Elaine while the younger cast members (Franki and James) excelled in their roles.

The singing and dancing of the ensemble was well rehearsed and slick and their enjoyment shone through. There was a lot to enjoy in this show. The costumes and set were glamorous, the music was well known and catchy.

Thanks must go to the backstage crew and dressers you were kept busy. I know this production suffered with the flooding in October and I am delighted you were able to complete the run of this show. It is due to the hard work and dedication of you all. Well done Nova Productions you have reinstated the proud tradition of musical theatre in Forfar with a cracking performance. Onwards and upwards.
