Two for one, that can`t be bad! The first half involved all of this talented group of youngsters showcasing songs and sketches from the days of the caveman, through to life in the future. The Young Performers delivered songs like `Feelin Good`, through to `Bohemian Rhapsody` with exuding clarity and confidence. The half was well linked by Zak Charlesworth with his corny one liners.
The second half was an absolute Wow. With an outstanding sixteen piece orchestra, they, and the youngsters performed Leon Wade`s admirable orchestration of Rick Wakeman`s `Journey to the Centre of the Earth`.
The story was superbly narrated by Jonathan Higgins, with soloists, Rebecca Cox, Nicola Northcott, Emily Owen and Zak Charlesworth in enthralling form. The whole company deserve great praise for the way they achieved such a high level of performance.
I`m told that Rick Wakeman came to see the show and thoroughly enjoyed the performance, I absolutely go along with that. Great entertainment.
