Our House follows the story of Joe Casey who on the night of his 16th Birthday makes a decision that will change his life. Trying to impress Sarah the girl of his dreams, he breaks into a building, where things take a turn for the worse as the police turn up.  The story then follows the two paths that Joe could take after that night.

The principle cast consists of David Adey as Mr Pressman, who once again shows that he has plenty of experience on stage.  Sam King portrays Reecey, a very different character from a previous musical showing the diversity of a talented actor.  Olivia Charman as Angie and Molly Wright as Billie both take a principle role for the first time, both very talented and brought their characters to life.   Saul Bache as Lewis and Jordan Bloomer as Emmo were a pleasure to watch. Karen Day as Kath Casey (Joe’s Mum) again another new face to the principle line up, also very talented and a joy to watch.  Richard Yates as Joe’s Dad narrated the show in words and song effortlessly.

Charlotte Edginton as Sarah had to portray a range of emotions during the split time line which was done with ease.  Her performance of “NW5” was beautiful to listen to.

Completing the principle line up was the multitalented Louis Haywood as Joe Casey.   It is not an easy job to be able to play a split personality but Louis carried this off with ease and gave an excellent performance both in vocals and libretto.

Unfortunately there were some microphone issues, however the band certainly belted out every tune of some very popular songs with ease.

Congratulations must go to the backstage team, the stage is not one of the biggest and this was a very impressive set.  The lighting and follow spots were effortlessly used and added depth to an enjoyable performance.

The whole production was again extremely well choreographed and was filled with both high energy routines and slower numbers.
